In a keynote speech to the Institutional Limited Partners Association members, Gary Gensler stated that agency rules will aim to reduce conflicts of interest among fund general partners affiliates investors.
Gensler said that he also asked for suggestions from staff regarding improving hedge fund reporting. Gensler indicated that he requested recommendations through Form Private Fund (Form PF). This is required in order to provide regulators with information about private fund advisors.
