Astroworld Festival death toll rises with 22-year-old Texas student succumbing to injuries -Breaking

(Reuters) – According to a Texas lawyer representing the family, the death toll from the Astroworld Festival stampede has risen to nine. The victim was a 22 year-old college student.

22-year-old Bharti Shahani died of “horrific injuries” suffered at the rap concert. The Texas A&M University student had been hospitalized and on life support, James Lassiter, a lawyer for the family said on Thursday.
