Japan stocks higher at close of trade; Nikkei 225 up 0.59% -Breaking

Investing.com – Japan stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Tokyo closed with a gain of 0.59%.

They were the top performers at the session Pacific Metals Co., Ltd. (T:) traded at 2377.0 after the close, up 17.09%. That’s 347.0 point. During the meantime, Toppan Printing Co. Ltd. T: added 8.11%, or 145.0 points, to reach 1932.0 Showa Denko K.K. Late trade saw a 6.93% increase in T:, or 189.0 point to 2917.0

These were the worst performers of the session. Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. T:, which dropped 3.94% (or 194.0) to trade at 4725.0 at the closing. Shiseido Co., Ltd. The (T:), fell 3.83% to 291.0 points and ended at 7298.0 Comsys Holdings Corp. T: was at 2753.0, down 2.76% (or 78.0 points).

The Tokyo Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 2068, 1444 and 231 respectively.

Comsys Holdings Corp.’s shares dropped to 52-week highs (T:), losing 2.76%, or 78.0, to 2753.0.

The implied volatility index of Nikkei’s 225 options was unchanged at 0% to 20%.

December crude oil delivery rose 0.23 percent or 0.19 to $81.53/barrel. Brent oil rose 0.1% to $82.75 per barrel in commodity trading. The December Gold Futures contract saw a 0.41% increase or 7.55, and traded at $1855.85 an ounce.

USD/JPY went up 0.1% to 114.01, while EUR/JPY fell 0.07% at 130.82.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.1% at 94.938.
