Project Catalyst Allows Catalyst Natives To Use the Cardano Engine
  • Project Catalyst unveils its first Catalyst Natives.
  • Catalyst Natives allows firms to harness the innovation engine.

Cardano’s community-driven innovation engine — Project Catalyst introduces the first Catalyst Natives pilot to give any organization the ability to leverage the power of the crowd to solve business problems and outsource the implementation of solutions.

The team believes Catalyst Natives offers firms the chance to access a wealth of ideas as well as those who have the ability to implement them. Catalyst challenges allow organizations to discuss issues that are difficult or not possible for them.

Catalyst Natives, according to the team, extends Project Catalyst functionality such as the Cardano native tokens feature. It also expands the number of digital assets available on the Cardano ecosystem.

Catalyst Natives allows organizations to pose challenges outside of the Cardano/Catalyst blockchain and will reward and incentivize those that meet these challenges with their innovations.

In addition, the firm said that they are launching a series of pilots in collaboration with COTI — an enterprise-grade fintech platform that empowers organizations to create their payment solutions and digitize any currency.

Shahaf Bar-Geffen, CEO of COTI, also spoke out about the partnership. He added,

It is a great honor to have been the first to open a Catalyst Native Fund. It is natural that COTI, IOHK and Cardano Foundation are close partners. This collaboration will allow for teams all around the globe to participate in the ADAPay development process and take part in our challenge.

Bar-Geffen added that ADA Pay’s ability to be accepted by a wide range of merchants as a payment option will enrich both Cardano communities and COTI communities.
