(Reuters] – U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez praised the beloved Scottish caffeinated soft drink IrnBru that she was delivered by Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s First minister at the United Nations COP26 global climate summit in Glasgow.

IrnBru was promoted as Scotland’s second-national drink. The first being whisky.

It’s delicious! In an Instagram post, the U.S. representative wrote that she would bring cans back to NY (New York), for certain! She also posted a video in which she tried the bright orange fizzy drink.

Ocasio Cortez earlier stated on social media that she was looking for IrnBru, to answer a question regarding whether she’d tried the drink during her recent visit to Glasgow as part of the Climate Summit.

It is difficult to find the right place. “Do you guys have any bodegas? She laughed.

Sturgeon posted a tweet (NYSE:) showing that she was handing Ocasio Cortez a bottle of IrnBru.

A.G. Barr PLC states that Irn-Bru uses 32 different flavouring agents. The company also has its own tartan, the orange and the blue.

Tartan, a symbol for Scotland’s historical roots and with each clan having its own pattern, is widely used.

Ocasio Cortez, in the video, says that the drink reminded her of Kola Champagne. This soda is very popular in Latin America.

She wrote that she was “shocked” to find something in Glasgow that tasted just like home on her Instagram. It’s amazing!
