China’s Xi calls for more APEC investment in economic, technological cooperation

BEIJING (Reuters), – China’s President Xi Jinping said Friday to fellow Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation leaders (APEC) that the bloc is vital for economic and technological cooperation and that more investments should be made, CCTV reports.

CCTV stated that Xi was also present at the APEC Leaders Summit via videolink. He said China would continue to open up its doors to the outside and help share China’s developmental opportunities with Asia-Pacific countries.
