Bitcoin Taproot Update Scheduled for November 13, Investors HOLD Bitcoin in Anticipation to Rally

The Taproot Upgrade could finally be available to the Bitcoin community on Saturday November 13, after nearly five months of wait. Taproot was hailed as the greatest upgrade to the Bitcoin network since its inception.

Taproot offers programmable scripting that is similar to Ethereum smart contract programming. This will result in improved privacy, speed and programmingability for the Bitcoin Network.

While Bitcoin is the dominant cryptocurrency market at 43%, smart contract networks are more functional. For better performance, however, the upgrade would allow Bitcoin to be programmed and enable multi-signature transactions.

While Bitcoin is breaking its all time highs every week, a report indicates that many investors still hold onto their Bitcoins and expect the price to continue climbing. Glassnode estimates that only 12.9% remains of Bitcoin’s supply on exchanges.

Binance Stops Dogecoin, (DOGE), Withdrawal. Users Are Asked To Return DOGE

The meme coin season continues to distend, with Dogecoin reclaiming its throne from as the biggest “DOGE” on the block. Feeding the Doge populace, Binance announced on November 10 that it had completed DOGE Network’s Dogecoin Core 1.14.5 version update.

Binance suspended DOGE withdrawals temporarily after an update was made. Binance stated that the updated update had a small problem.

Binance is not willing to admit that the issues are more complex than they think. An November 12 report states that DOGE has been received by some Chinese users from failed transactions years ago. Dogecoin Developers wrote

Yesterday, we received notification that all previously blocked transactions (insufficient payment) were suddenly being relayed. Post 1.14.5 updates, this is probably due to the fact that minfees had been reduced in 1.14.5.

Some users complained that Binance pulled Dogecoin out of their wallets without them consenting. Users have claimed that Binance is asking them for Dogecoin they don’t have.
