Japan economy to recover to pre-COVID level in 1st half of 2022 -Breaking

TOKYO, Reuters – Haruhiko Kuroda, Bank of Japan Governor, said Monday that Japan’s economy would likely recover to levels pre-coronavirus in 2022.

Kuroda spoke at the meeting of business leaders in Nagoya (central Japan) and said that “the economy’s recovery was somewhat slower than initially anticipated.”

He stated, “But the mechanism to an economic recovery still remains intact,” according to the BOJ speech.
