(Reuters) – According to a Texas bankruptcy court filing on Sunday, St. Croix Energy LLLP bids $20 million to purchase the closed Limetree Bay refinery.

After being closed nearly 10 years, the Limetree Bay refining plant was reopened by two private equity firms earlier in this year. The plant was only operational for a short time before U.S. regulators closed it down after several residents complained of breathing difficulties and incidents involving emissions.
