Thyssenkrupp considers listing hydrogen business in first quarter

BERLIN (Reuters). Thyssenkrupp AG, DE:, is looking at listing its hydrogen business in an initial public offer (IPO), Bloomberg reported Monday. Bloomberg cited unidentified sources who were familiar with the matter.

Sources claim that Uhde Clorine Engineers (TKUCE) could be worth 5 billion euros ($5.7billion). This is more than the aforementioned sources. Credit Suisse (SIX) Analyst’s May valuation of the company at approximately 2.8 billion Euros.

Thyssenkrupp did not respond to our request for comment.

Thyssenkrupp has a joint venture with De Nora in Italy. Thyssenkrupp Uralkali Membrane Engineers (TKUCE), is the biggest supplier of chlorine-alkali technology to make hydrogen.
