U.S. Supreme Court rejects Volkswagen appeals over emissions tampering -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters), – Monday saw the U.S. Supreme Court reject Volkswagen AG’s (OTC:) attempt to stay lawsuits from three US states seeking damages due to Volkswagen’s cheating diesel emissions scandal.
VW and Robert Bosch LLC, a German supplier of automobiles, appealed against a Florida Hillsborough County ruling that allowed them to sue the two companies under their local regulations. VW appealed against a similar decision in an Ohio case. The court rejected VW’s appeal.
