American Airlines (NASDAQ;) and Delta Airlines, (DAL), reported different results for Q3, particularly when you look at the profits margins. American Airlines needed federal benefits in order to have a Q3 of positive net income. Delta Airlines managed to do so with no government grant. The rollout of vaccines allowed for the relaxation of restrictions, which has provided relief for airline companies.

Companies will benefit from the global economic recovery by incorporating new technologies and enhancing their business operations. American Airlines Group Delta Air Lines and (AAL:) Delta Air Lines are both well positioned to take advantage of the pent up travel demand. This will lead to increased revenue growth in future quarters.
