REUTERS/Shamil Zahumatov/File photo(Reuters) – Diageo LON: The world’s biggest spirits manufacturer stated Tuesday that it expects organic growth of between 5% to 7% in fiscal 2023-2025. This is in contrast to the 4%-6% growth achieved during 2017-2018.
Johnnie Walker, a whisky manufacturer that is part of the UK blue-chip, anticipates organic net sales growth at least 16% for the first half fiscal 2022, and organic operating profits growth ahead of growth in sales.
Lavanya Chandrashekar, Chief Financial Officer, stated that while inflationary pressures will increase, they also anticipate operating leverage, premiumisation and revenue growth management to help them achieve productivity gains.
