(Reuters) – Nvidia (NASDAQ) Corp forecast Wednesday fourth quarter revenue that exceeded Wall Street estimates. It is betting on the growth of its data centre business, as more internet businesses seek to invest in metaverse and artificial intelligence.

Based on IBES data from Refinitiv, the largest manufacturer of graphics and AI chip in the world expects to generate $7.40 billion for its current quarter, plus or minus 2.2%. That’s higher than analysts’ average revenue estimate of $6.86 trillion.
