U.S. administers nearly 445 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – As of Wednesday morning, 444,789186 COVID-19 vaccinations had been administered in America and 558,4603,315 were distributed, according to U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

These figures represent an increase from the 443,374,199 vaccination doses that the CDC stated had reached arms as of Nov. 16. This is in addition to the 556.077.145 vaccine doses.

According to the agency, 228,175,638 individuals had had at least one dose and 195612,365 had had their entire vaccinations as of 6:06 a.m. ET Wednesday

Two-dose shots are part of the CDC tally. Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech,, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.

A booster dose has been administered to approximately 31.5 million individuals Pfizer (NYSE:), Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine. Booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson were authorized by the U.S. health regulator on Oct. 20.
