Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index dropped 0.2% at the Paris close, and the index fell 0.2%.

EssilorLuxottica SA’s shares rose to their highest levels ever, rising 2.66% (5.00 to 193.16).

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at 0% to 18.96, a 6-month high.

The December delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 0.35%, or 6.50, to $1863.70 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose 0.42 or 0.54% to $77.97/barrel, and January Brent oil, which rose 0.45 or 0.56% to $80.73/barrel.

EUR/USD rose 0.3% to 1.1359 while EUR/GBP rose 0.322% to 0.8421

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.2% at 95.642.
