German prosecutors seize documents at Continental AG in diesel probe -Breaking

HAMBURG (Reuters). German prosecutors have taken documents from Continental, an automotive supplier in Germany, on Wednesday. This was in connection to an investigation into illegal diesel engine defeat devices.

A prosecutor was asked whether the connection existed between the searches at Continental and Wolfgang Schaefer’s surprise decision to fire him as its Chief Financial Officer, but he said that he believed so.
