Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Saudi Industrial Investment Group was the best performer of the session, rising 3.75% (or 1.20) to close at 33.20. Herfy Food Services Co. (SE) gained 3.8% or 2.40 to trade at 71.30. Alujain In late trade, Corporation (SE:), was up 2.833% (1.70 points) to 61.70
National Company for Learning and Education SJSC(SE:) were the worst-performing session. They fell 3.9% or 2.60 points and traded at 64.00 by the closing. SABIC AgriNutrients Co (SE:) declined 3.80% or 7.00 points to end at 177.00 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:) was down 3.79% or 2.10 points to 53.30.
By 153 to 44 and 17 respectively, falling stocks outnumbered advancing stocks on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
The January delivery of crude oil rose 0.4%, or 0.34, to $77.89/barrel. Brent oil, which was due for delivery January 1, rose 0.38 percent to reach $80.66/barrel, and the December Gold Futures contract lost 0.29% (or 5.35) to trade at $1864.85/troy ounce.
EUR/SAR increased 0.15% to 4.2517 while USD/SAR increased 0.01% at 3.7509.
At 95.785, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.05%.
