U.S., Malaysia agree to transparency in semiconductor, manufacturing supply chains -Breaking

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters), – Malaysia and the United States plan to work together with their industry partners in improving the transparency, security and resilience of the supply chains for semiconductors and other manufacturing products, both countries announced on Thursday.

The two countries plan to start negotiations for a memorandum and will sign it by the beginning of 2022. This was according to a joint statement issued jointly by Gina Raimondo, Secretary of Commerce of America and Mohamed Azmin Ali, Malaysian International Trade and Industry Minister.
