(Reuters) – Cargolux, a Luxembourg-based air freight operator, is currently analyzing new Airbus and Boeing freighter offerings (NYSE:), a spokesperson stated on Friday.

Boeing will launch its new cargo version of the 777X in a matter of weeks. Airbus, on the other hand, is searching for specialist cargo customers for its A350 freighter. This is after it secured a lease customer at Dubai Airshow: Air Lease (NYSE).

Bloomberg News had reported earlier that Airbus may announce a new cargoer order on Friday.

Airbus is heavily interested in Cargolux, an operator of Boeing 747 freighters. Industry sources report that Cargolux has been a big customer for many years.

Simple Flying last month reported Cargolux visiting Airbus, and aero Telegraph reported two A350 test flight with the callsign CARGOLUX.

Airbus declined comment.
