Manchester City Football Club, English Premier League team, has terminated a partnership agreement with a startup cryptocurrency firm. The club apparently didn’t do enough due diligence before the signing.
According to Daily Mail reporter Jack Gaughan, Manchester City is currently “conducting further enquiries” regarding 3key Technologies, the crypto firm with which the club InkedThe deal came into effect on Nov. 12. The football club was not yet formed at the time. It would collaborate with 3key in order to increase awareness about its decentralized financing or DeFi trading analysis products, as a regional partner.
