(Reuters). California police are looking for about 80 people who, according to them, rushed into a Bay Area Nordstrom store (NYSE) in a coordinated robbery. They ransacked as much of the merchandise as possible and fled in vehicles that they had parked in front.

Police said that three people were taken into custody at Walnut Creek’s scene of “organized theft”, which was reported just before 9:59 p.m. on Saturday. The incident took place about 15 miles (15 km) east from Oakland.

Walnut Creek police stated that “the remaining members of this criminal mob fled the area in vehicles at high speeds,” in a Sunday statement.

This robbery occurred after another brazen mob heist at high-end shops on Friday night in San Francisco’s Union Square. It was about 25 miles (40km) west.

KNTV Television’s reporter captured the incident on video. The footage showed people climbing out of the store to get merchandise. They also climbed into approximately 25 parked vehicles that circled the building, jamming traffic.

Brett Barrette from a nearby restaurant said it was insane for one second. He claimed that the thieves had ski masks on and were equipped with weapons and crow bars. All the people inside started to get worried.

According to police, the suspects pepper-sprayed one person and assaulted two Nordstrom workers. The police said they’re reviewing surveillance footage and trying to find them.

According to police, Dana Dawson (30 years old) and Joshua Underwood (32 year-old), were taken into custody at the scene. Rodney Robinson (18 years old), was taken into custody in Oakland. The charges against the suspects include robbery.
