Elon Musk says Tesla Model S Plaid may launch in China in March

TeslaElon Musk, the CEO, has stated that Model S Plaid vehicles may launch in China next spring.

Musk responded to a Twitter question late Sunday night asking when China will get the electric sedan.

CNBC did not reach Tesla immediately for additional information.

China has more than 1.4 million people and is the world’s largest market for electric cars. There are many electric vehicle manufacturers in China. XpengAlso see Nio.

This car can go 520 miles, and reach speeds of up 200 miles an hour (320 km per hour).

Musk claimed that it would be “Faster and safer than Porsche” when the car was released.
