U.S. administers 451.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – The United States has administered 451,453,834 COVID-19 doses to the nation as of Sunday morning and distributed 566.964,025 doses.

These numbers are higher than the 449 955,588 doses that the CDC reported had been administered by Nov. 20.

According to the agency, 230,298,744 individuals had had at least one dose and 196,284,442 had had their entire vaccinations as of 6:06 a.m. ET Sunday

Two-dose vaccinations are included in the CDC tally Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.

A booster dose has been administered to approximately 35.4 million individuals Pfizer (NYSE:), Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine. Booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson were authorized by the U.S. health regulator on Oct. 20.
