Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ): These stocks are a good buy, but which one is the best? International Game Technology PLC, based in London (IGT), provides global gaming technology products. Global Lottery, and Global Gaming are its two main segments. Scientific Games Corporation, (SGMS), develops technology-based products, services, and related content to international gaming, lottery and social gaming. It is active in the Gaming, Lottery, SciPlay (NASDAQ;); and Digital segments.

Online gambling companies have seen significant growth in the last year, as more people turn to online gambling. This is despite the fact that physical casinos had been closed due to COVID-19 lockdown. Many companies operating in the online gambling space have the opportunity to reap the benefits of legalizing it across the nation. ResearchandMarkets predicts that the market for gambling worldwide will grow by 7% over the next four year.

IGT’s price has increased 19.6% over the last six months while SGMS returned 9%. Also, IGT’s 117.6% gains over the past year are significantly higher than SGMS’ 71.8% returns. Furthermore, IGT is the clear winner with 56.6% gains versus SGMS’ 3.5% returns in terms of their past three months’ performance.
