White House says Biden intends to run again in 2024 -Breaking

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE – U.S. President Joe Biden plans to run for reelection in 2024. Jen Psaki, White House spokesperson, told reporters Monday.

Biden, now 79 years old, has experienced a drop in his job approval scores in recent months. Some Democrats wonder if he will not run for another four-year term.

Democrats felt rattled by Republican victories at Virginia’s State Elections and in New Jersey, where Democrats won narrowly.

If Biden does not run for reelection, there are questions about Kamala Harris’ viability in 2024. According to a recent USA TODAY/Suffolk University survey, she has a 28% approval rate for her job.

Biden was examined for the first time since January, when he underwent his physical exam. He had a stiffened gait which doctors attributed to frequent episodes of acid reflux. He was cleared by doctors to continue serving.

Biden appeared to be boosted by the passage last week of a $1 billion infrastructure plan. Another $2 trillion of spending is still being discussed on a package for social security net.
