Nayib Bukele will be the new speaker at the Bitcoin Conference 2022Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador spoke out at the conference that was held in 2021. He stated his intent to legalize crypto as a currency in the country. The president of El Salvador will be updating the public in 2022 about his process to adopt Bitcoin, and what cryptocurrency means for citizens.
Bukele said that Salvadorans have more Bitcoin wallets per capita than they do bank accounts. Bukele intends to use the Bitcoin profits to fund new schools and a Bitcoin city. This will not have any income or property taxes.
It will be held from 6-9 April 2022 in Miami. The conference’s goal is to bring together Bitcoiners, including CEOs and innovators as well as BTC holders.
Bitcoin Magazine will organize the event, which is regarded as the biggest Bitcoin event ever. It will be attended by over 35,000 Bitcoin lovers and more than 3,500 companies.
El Salvador has joined the Bitcoin network and is now leading the charge for other countries. This year’s announcement marked a turning point for Bitcoin and the entire world.
