Investing.com – Australia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

EML Payments Ltd. (ASX) was the best performer of the session, rising 31.27%, or 0.86 points, to trade at 3.61 by the close. Meanwhile, NRW Holdings Ltd (ASX) gained 8.44%, or 0.14 points, to reach 1.74 Nickel Mines Late trade saw Ltd (ASX) rise 7.22%, or 0.095 point to 1.410

AMP Ltd., (ASX:) fell 5.00% to trade at 1.045. Kogan.com Ltd. (ASX) fell 4.28%, or 0.38 points, to close at 8.49. Bendigo And Adelaide Bank Ltd. (ASX) dropped 3.37%, or 0.30 points. To 8.61.

The Sydney Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 742 to 664, and 403 ended the same.

Kogan.com Ltd. shares (ASX:), fell to 52 week lows. The share price was down 4.28% (0.38 to 8.49). The shares of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Ltd. (ASX) dropped to 52 weeks lows, losing 3.37% (0.30 to 8.61).

For December delivery, Gold Futures rose 0.53% to $1793.70 an ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell 0.10 percent to $78.29/barrel, and January Brent oil, which rose 0.02 or 0.02% to $82.27/barrel.

The Australian Dollar/USD exchange rate was up 0.17 to 0.7207. While the AUD/JPY traded at a slightly higher 0.13%, at 83.15.

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.6% at 96.718.
