BERLIN (Reuters: Daimler (OTC) China Chief said Thursday that China’s sales would remain strong in next year. He also stated that he is confident Mercedes-Benz can grow its share of China’s electric vehicle marketplace given the lackluster competition from the premium segment.

Hubertus Troska stated on a roundtable discussion with journalists that China’s automobile sales rose 12% to an all-time high of 774,000, in spite of the pandemic.

Troska declared, “Everything supports the fact China will become a Super Market next year.”
