One step closer to officialization of the European Union’s proposed framework for regulation of cryptocurrencies. The European Council is the body that guides the EU’s political agenda. It meets Wednesday. AnnoucedIts position in relation to the Markets in Crypto Assets Framework (MiCA) and the Digital Operational Resilience Acts (DORA).
After the agreement has been ratified by the European Council, Parliament and the European Commission, they may begin to discuss the issue before the legislation is finalized.
