France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 0.48% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index rose 0.4% at the Paris close, and the stock market gained 0.54%.

WFD Unibail Rodamco NV – (AS:) were the best performers of the session, rising 3.01% to trade at 66.34 by the closing. Meanwhile, Pernod Ricard To reach 213.00, SA (PA) gained 2.45% or 5.10 more points Worldline SA Late trade saw a 1.92% increase in the PA:, or 0.94 point to 49.62

ArcelorMittal SA(AS:), the worst performer of the session, fell 0.97% (or 0.26 point) to trade at 26.07 by the closing. Sanofi SA(PA:) fell 0.76%, or 0.66 point to trade at 86.65. Carrefour SA (PA:), was 0.10 point lower at 15.69

Top performers in the SBF 120 competition were Remy Cointreau (PA) which rose by 13.43% and reached 212.00 Valneva (PA:), which rose 6.80% to settle in 23.860 Mcphy Energy (PA:), which gained 6.53% and closed at 22.50

TechnipFMC PLC, (PA:), was the worst performer. It fell 1.79% to 5.61 late trade. Faurecia (PA:), which dropped 1.60% to settle for 43.57 Valeo SA (PA:), which fell 1.55% to 27,24 at the closing.

By 345 to 239, rising stocks outnumbered falling ones at the Paris Stock Exchange. 98 was unchanged.

Pernod Ricard SA’s shares rose by 2.45%, or 5.10 to 213.00. Remy cointreau shares (PA:), rose to new heights, up 13.43% or 25,10 to 212.00. Valneva’s shares rose 6.80%, or from 1.520 to 23.860.

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at 0% to 18.96, a 6-month high.

The December delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.3% or 5.45 percent to $1789.75 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil fell 0.29 or 0.3% to $78.10 per barrel. The January Brent oil contract dropped 0.06%, or 0.05, to trade at $82.20 per barrel.

EUR/USD was up 0.13 percent to 1.1212. EUR/GBP advanced 0.220% at 0.8414.

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.3% at 96.745
