Japan PM seen calling for wage hikes at next year’s labour talks -NHK -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters), – Fumio Kirishida, Japan’s Prime Minister, is looking into urging business to boost wages during next year’s annual wage negotiations between labour unions and employers.

NHK stated that Kishida administration members are pushing for a wage rise of approximately 3%.

This proposal will be considered by a group led by Kishida, which is scheduled to meet later in the day.
