Morgan Stanley increased exposure to Bitcoin, held $300M in Grayscale shares -Breaking

Investment funds offered by major U.S. banks Morgan Stanley (NYSE) has increased its exposure by purchasing shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust.

According to Tuesday’s filings by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the Morgan Stanley Insight Fund was identified. IncreasedGrayscale Bitcoin Trust shares, also known as GBTC, are held by the firm at a higher than 63%. These shareholdings range from 928.051 during the second quarter in 2021, to 1,520.549 as of September 30. In addition, filings on the firm’s Growth Portfolio ShowIt held 3,642,118 GBTC share in the third quarter 2021. This is 71% more than Q2’s 2,130,153 shares. Morgan Stanley Global Opportunity Portfolio Held1,546,714 GBTC is 59% more than the 919,805 shares it was in just three months.
