BEIJING (Reuters – Taiwan is a matter of national sovereignty and compromise cannot be achieved. The Defense Ministry of China said Thursday that Washington had made a string of provocations on several topics.

Wu stated that the U.S. has done “a lot of irresponsible and provocative things” over a time period. He also said, “But, for some time, the U.S. Side has done a bunch of provocative stuff on Taiwan and the South China Sea and close up reconnaissance with warships, aircraft, and warships.”

China is committed to the principles of the relationship between its militaries.

China cannot compromise on Taiwan issues, especially, and America should not be in any doubt about it.”

Taiwanese democracy has decried China’s intensified diplomatic pressure and military force to forcibly recognize Chinese rule.

Taiwan President Tsai INg-wen has made a vow to defend the island. He also stated that it is only their people who can make decisions about its future.
