Blinken to visit Latvia, Sweden next week for NATO, OSCE meetings -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is scheduled to travel next week to Latvia and Sweden, according to the U.S. State Department. He will attend NATO and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe summits and hold bilateral meetings.

Due to a Russian build-up near Ukraine’s borders, the trip between Nov. 29, and Dec. 2, will occur during a period of increasing tension between Russia & the Western military alliance.
