Report claims each Solana TX uses less energy than 2 Google searches -Breaking

The Solana Foundation has released a Nov. 25 study that found that a transaction through the network consumes less energy than 2 Google (NASDAQ:), searches and 24 times less electricity than charging your smartphone.

It ReportAccording to the company, a transaction using its network requires 0.00051 kWh (or 1,836 Joules) of energy. AccordingGoogle reports that the average Google search takes 0.0003 Kilowatts (or 1,080 Joules), of energy.
