Educating People on the Importance of Web 3.0 is Fundamental – The Graph

Before you even attempt to implement a solution, it is important to understand the basics. This is true for the Web 3.0 infrastructure that has been rapidly developing and heralds a new era in decentralized internet.

It is imperative to inform people about the Web 3.0 infrastructure’s importance. There are many reasons for this. It is an early project and comes with some problems.

It is crucial that each stakeholder understands their role in the highly fragmented infrastructure. This includes validating nodes, developers, end-users, and validation nodes.

In an exclusive interview with Pranav Maheshwari, a solutions engineer at Edge & Node, one of the initial teams backing The Graph protocol, the enthusiastic developer shared his thoughts on the need to educate people of the importance of Web 3.0.

For those who aren’t familiar, The Graph protocol is a blockchain-based data indexing platform that helps decentralized applications (dApps) function more effectively and efficiently. The decentralized protocol can be found in our earlier publication.

Moving on, Maheshwari mentioned that working in the Web 3.0 world is like working against the tide; “it’s like defying what has been,” he said, referring to the centralized infrastructure, as well as the typically centralized mindset of humans.

“So that is one of the issues we are trying to currently cater to. For people to get it. [that]It’s more than just about installing your app on and decentralizing it.

Use the Web 3.0 platform. It should not have any single points of failure, and for that, you need to use The Graph to get the information out there in a decentralized version,”
Maheshwari noted.

The Web 3.0 infrastructure by nature defies the existing central infrastructure. It can make it very difficult for people to understand why they need to change and how to do that, says Maheshwari.

Maheshwari says that The Graph’s current focus is on education and expanding chain compatibility to other than EVM-compatible chains.

“There Is a Need to Educate People Getting into the Crypto Space.”
The Graph protocol does not stop at educating people. Maheshwari asserts that people need to be educated about the Web 3.0 infrastructure beyond just the project.

A thing I love to teach everyone [on] is about trying to move towards the Web 3.0 and, seeing some of the meme coins gaining more traction in recent times, it’s very important for a person, who is getting into the space to understand the fundamentals of why they exist in the first place,”
Maheshwari mused.

Maheshwari says that, beyond trading cryptocurrency or swapping (as in the case with yield farming), people must understand what causes their investments to grow.

Maheshwari explains that while some individuals make substantial profits trading cryptocurrency or other profitable Web 3.0 activities through their trades, many others can’t.

These people tend to become disillusioned by the unpalatable nature of the decentralized web, simply because they do not understand the fundamentals, or prefer to just listen to the “noise in the crypto space, thereby being a part of the nuances.”

Maheshwari and The Graph Protocol, both believe in Web 3.0. The new internet must not be centralized. This means that you need to have the correct knowledge to get into the space.

“You have to, if you’re getting into the space as a youngster, as a person, as an investor, as a developer, please understand the fundamentals, read about everything that has made something possible. Utility tokens, governance tokens are examples of tokens that you should believe in. And you’ll be good,”
Maheshwari speaks in conclusion.
