Report claims each Solana TX uses less energy than 2 Google searches -Breaking

The Solana Foundation reports that a transaction over the network consumes less energy than 2 Google (NASDAQ:), searches, and 24 times less electricity than charging your smartphone. This is according to their Thursday report.

It ReportIt states that one transaction in its network requires 0.00051 kWh (kWh). This is 1,836 Joules. AccordingGoogle reports that the average Google search takes 0.0003 Kilowatts (or 1,080 Joules), of energy.
