ZAITSEVE Ukraine (Reuters) – Ukraine’s military has the ability to resist any attack. Oleksander is a Ukrainian soldier standing in a trench located just a few kilometers from pro-Russian separatists.

Last week, Ukraine’s military intelligence stated that Russia had over 92,000 troops stationed near Ukraine’s borders. They were preparing to launch an attack before the end January or start of February.

Russia’s top foreign intelligence officer said that the suggestions made by Trump were malicious U.S. propaganda on Saturday.

However, the Ukrainian border forces are ready for an escalation.

“If an attack occurs, we are prepared to defend. We are prepared.  We’re getting ready, better day by day, considering different options. Oleksander stated that it is possible to repel an attack without major problems.

Ukraine is seeking to become a NATO member. Moscow has been accused of supporting separatists since 2014 and it was blasted by the country.

Russia has said it suspects Ukraine of wanting to recapture separatist-controlled territory by force. According to President Volodymyr Zilenskiy, Kyiv has no plans for such a thing and Russia’s opposition to Ukraine joining NATO is alarming.

The United States sent a huge shipment of ammunition and Javelin rockets to Ukraine earlier in the year. Soldiers also claim that they have mortars as well as Turkish attack drones.

It’s not a good idea to feel afraid of someone coming to your home and hiding in your basement. This won’t work. It won’t work.

“We are fighting to keep them away, then we’ll have luck with a draw.”
