Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Frankfurt closed with the Index rising 0.16% and the Index climbing 0.60%. The index also climbed by 0.55%.

RWE AG ST O.N. was the best performer of the session. RWE AG ST O.N. (DE:) rose 3.05%, or 1.035 point to close at 35.020. Puma SE (+2.50%) added 2.60 points to reach 106.40, while E.ON SE (+DE:), was up 2.19% to 10.983 or 0.235 point in late-trade.

These were the worst performers of the session. Continental AG O.N. O.N. Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (DE): The decline of 2.65% or 1.620 point to 59.590 was reflected in the AG O.N. Beiersdorf AG O.N. (DE:), was 1.80% lower or 1.630 points at 89.130.

These were the top performers on MDAX Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:) which rose 3.31% to 107.550, AUTO1 Group SE (DE:) which was up 3.23% to settle at 25.60 and K&S AG (DE:) which gained 3.15% to close at 15.060.

These were the worst performers Evotec AG O.N. (DE) was at 3.74% lower than 40.960 late trade. Tag Immobilien AG (DE) lost 1.63% and settled at 24.820. Lanxess AG (DE:), which fell 1.44% at 51.155 by the end.

Nemetschek AG O.N. were the top performers in the TecDAX. (DE:) rose by 3.31% at 107.550. Cancom SE O.N. also rose. (DE:) which was up 3.03% to settle at 61.880 and S&T AG (DE:) which gained 2.97% to close at 19.07.

Evotec AG O.N. was the worst performer. Evotec AG O.N. was the worst performer, falling 3.74% to $40.960 late trade Qiagen Deutsche Telekom AG Na: (DE:), which fell 1.68% to 49.425, and NV: (DE:), which dropped 0.79% at 16.020 at closing.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered those in decline by 437 to 288 while 51 ended unaffected.

Lanxess AG shares (DE:), fell to 52 week lows. They were down 1.44%, or 0.750, to 51.155.

EUR/USD dropped 0.4% to 1.1264. EUR/GBP was at 0.08%, falling to 0.8474.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.2% to 96.412.
