Jefferies poaches Deutsche Bank bankers to bolster Iberia coverage, source says -Breaking

LONDON – U.S. financial bank Jefferies (NYSE 🙂 snapped up Deutsche Bank (DE:)’s M&A head in Iberia, Andres Gutierrez, as its new investment banking boss for the region as it seeks to bolster its presence across Europe, a source told Reuters.
Jefferies also hired Santiago Garcia Linares (Deutsche Bank vice president) to be a director for its Madrid office. This source claimed under condition anonymity.
Jefferies will welcome Gutierrez and Garcia Linares to its ranks in December. They will focus, among other things, on helping clients with infrastructure issues.
The Deutsche Bank and Jefferies were unavailable for comment immediately.
