LISBON (Reuters), Ryanair Group chief executive Michael O’Leary claimed Tuesday that he didn’t see any reason for cancelling flights as a result of Omicron virus. Ryanair’s flight schedule is heavily booked in the following weeks.

He said that he did not intend to cancel any flights and did not see Omicron as an excuse for people with negative PCRs or vaccinated from traveling.

“Frankly, we don’t think there are risks to air travel in Europe from those people,” said he, noting that Ryanair is concerned about other countries closing down air travel (as was the case for Morocco).
