U.S. House panel probing Capitol riot moves toward contempt charge against Clark -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – A U.S. House of Representatives panel investigating the deadly Jan. 6, riot at Capitol claimed Monday that they were moving to hold Jeffrey Clark, a top Justice Department official, in contempt of Congress.

According to the Select Committee, it will hold a meeting Wednesday in order to vote on a recommendation that Congress cite Clark for contempt and remand him for criminal prosecution.
