Ethereum Could Be the Next Crypto to Be Added to Twitter’s Tip Jar Soon

The first feature introduced on Twitter’s microblogging platform in May 2021 was Tips. This allows users to send money to influencers or content creators from any part of the globe.

Currently supported payment services include wallet, Strike, Bandcamp (Bitcoin Lightning Network), Bandcamp and Cash App.

Twitter integrated Bitcoin in its tipping service in September. Users could now add Lightning Network and bitcoin wallets to their profile and get tips without restrictions. Twitter could soon feature the next crypto.

Tweeter @CryptoWhale suggests Ethereum (ETH), as the next cryptocurrency to reach the tipping bowl. Ethereum is praised for being more functional than Bitcoin and would be more useful than Bitcoin.

Alessandro Paluzzi (full-stack Android Developer in Java and Kotlin) announced in September that they were working on the ability to let users send Bitcoin and Ethereum tips. The platform was finally able to accept Bitcoin a few weeks later. This could mean that it won’t be long before Ethereum tipping is introduced to Twitter users.
