Exclusive-Biden expected to pick former Obama official to be top arms buyer

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. president Joe Biden will likely choose a former Obama official, who oversees the acquisitions of the F-35 fighter and troubled KC-46 tankser, to become the Pentagon’s chief weapon buyer. Sources familiar with the decision say that the choice is based on sources familiar with the process.
