Shell Deer Park Texas refinery saie delayed pending CFIUS approval

HOUSTON (Reuters] – Royal Dutch Shell Plc stated on Tuesday that a delay in the approval of the federal Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States(CFIUS), has hindered the sale its controlling interest in a joint Venture refinery in Deer Park in Texas to Petroleos Mexicanos.

Shell will work with regulators to conclude the sale by year’s end, Curtis Smith, spokesperson at the company said via email.
