© Reuters. Germany stock prices higher after close of trade, DAX up 2.47%Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
Frankfurt closed with the gain of 2.47% and the index climbing 1.29%. The index also added 0.99%.
Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. was the best performer of the session. (DE:), rose 5.32% to 2123 points and traded at 42.053 by the closing. Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, DE: added 4.23% to close at 88.675 with 3.600 points. Daimler AG NA O.N. Late trade saw a rise of 4.17%, or 3.470 points, to 86.620.
They were also the worst performers of the session. HelloFresh SE (DE:), fell 3.49% (3.12 points) to trade at 86.28 by the close. Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (DE): The final 588.600 points were reached at 588.600, a decline of 3.03%. Qiagen NV (DE 🙂 dropped 2.06% to 47.895.
AUTO1 Group SE, which rose 5.65% at 26.20, Deutsche Lufthansa AG(DE:), which was up 5.07% and settled at 5.633. Jungheinrich AG O.N.VZO, DE: saw a gain of 4.87% and closed at 43.540

The Frankfurt Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 536 to 173, and 51 was unchanged at the end.
Jenoptik AG shares rose by 5.09%, or 1.820, to 37.600.
The implied volatility index of DAX options was lower by 12.27% to 24.17.
The February delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.1%, or 10.90, to $1787.40 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil rose 1.39 or 2.10% to $67.57 per barrel in January, and the February Brent oil contract rose 1.52 or 2.20% to $70.75 per barrel.
EUR/USD fell 0.1% to 1.1319 while EUR/GBP dropped 0.222% to 0.8503.
The US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.4% at 95.972.
