Israel stocks rise at close to trade. TA35 up 1.38%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The gained 1.38% by the end in Tel Aviv.

Harel (TASE) was the best performer of the session, rising 5.41% or 180 point to close at 3508. Meanwhile, Airport City Ltd (TASE 🙂 added 4.99% (or 329 points) to finish at 6922. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE 🙂 was up by 4.32%, or 480 points to 11600 late trade.

They were also the session’s worst performers OPKO Health Inc TASE:, which dropped 2.97% (38 points) to close at 1243. The Liveperson (TASE) fell by 1.61% to 12240. Maytronics TASE: was at 7917, down 1.04% (83 points).

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 338-161 while 31 ended the same.

Airport City Ltd shares (TASE) reached 52-week highs. They rose 4.99%, or 329 to 6922. Liveperson’s shares (TASE) dropped to 52 week lows, falling by 1.61%. This is a drop of 200 to 12240. Tower Semiconductor Ltd. shares (TASE:), rose to three-year highs. They gained 4.32%, or 480 to 1600.

Crude oil was at $68.24 per barrel in January, an increase of 3.11%. Brent oil rose 2.24 percent or 3.24% to $71.47 per barrel in commodity trading. The February Gold Futures contract rose 0.633% or 11.20, to $1787.70 an troy ounce.

The USD/ILS exchange rate was up 0.15 percent to 3.1539 and the EUR/ILS exchange rate rose 0.1% to 3.5733.
