Michelin to cut French headcount by net amount of around 300 posts -Breaking

A company spokesperson told Reuters Wednesday that the majority of cuts would be done at Clermont-Ferrand, the French headquarters.
A spokeswoman stated that the cuts would be part of a bigger plan to increase efficiency, which was first announced in January. In France, there will also be 322 new jobs next year.
French news agency AFP reported the first time about the cutbacks, citing an internal document that was sent to labor unions.
