Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Saudi Arabia closed with a gain of 0.82%.

National Metal Manufacturing Co., which gained 9.93% (or 2.39 points) to trade at 26,45 at the closing, were the best-performing session. Sadr Logistics Co., (SE) gained 8.66% (35.00 points) to close at 439.00. Banque Saudi Fransi (SE) was also up 8.08%/ 3.25 points to 43.45 late trade.

Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. (SE:) was the worst performer of the session, falling 3.92% or 1.45 point to trade at 35.50 by the end. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:) declined 3.82% or 1.50 points to end at 37.80 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:) was down 3.45% or 1.10 points to 30.80.

On the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered those in progress by 126 to 81%. 11 ends unchanged.

Crude oil rose 3.22%, or 2.13 to $68.31/barrel for January delivery. Brent oil rose 2.24 percent or 3.24% to $71.47 per barrel in commodity trading. Meanwhile, the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.811% or 14.40, to $1790.90 an ounce.

EUR/SAR increased 0.00% at 4.2529 while USD/SAR rose by 0.01% at 3.7520.

At 95.840, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.17%.
